 The
Research pro Electronic Pipette is ideal for all liquid handling applications
in the laboratory. Its easy-to-follow display, ergonomically-placed operating
buttons, and various dispensing techniques such as pipetting, dispensing,
reverse pipetting and diluting make this a lab favorite.
It intuitively handles the simple functions of a manual
pipette without any adverse effects on the variety of programs. Additionally,
the multichannel version includes all of the single-channel pipette functions,
therefore either model can be used with no additional training required.

following functions of the Eppendorf Research pro are available by simply
pressing the Select rocker switch:
- Pipetting (PIP)
Options:
- Blow (separation of stroke and blow-out)
- Rinse (rinsing and mixing)
- Reverse Pipetting (aspiration with blow-out volume)
- Manual Pipetting (aspiration and dispensing for
as long as the key is held down)
- Dispensing (DIS)—single aspiration, dispensing
of max. 20 equal partial volumes
- Fixed-volume Pipetting (FIX)—rapid volume setting
from five programmable pre-settings
In addition, the pipette can store up to five programs
containing specified pipetting and dispensing sequences, which makes it
adaptable to a variety of requirements and makes everyday repetitive pipetting
much easier.
