    Eppendorf PICASO Pipette Calibration Software

Eppendorf PICASO Pipette Calibration SoftwareLaboratories in the diagnostic and research sectors demand the utmost accuracy and precision from liquid handling devices. GLP guidelines stipulate that error limits should be checked at regular intervals.

Pipettes can be used over a long period of time without requiring maintenance; however, leaks may occur as a result of decomposition of the piston grease caused by frequent pipetting of corrosive liquids. It is essential to recognize this problem before this decomposition occurs. The Eppendorf PICASO Pipette Calibration Software monitors and documents the accuracy and precision of a pipette throughout its entire operating life. This new program was designed for recording and processing measuring data from gravimetric or photometric pipette tests. It can be used to test all pipette types from various manufacturers and other liquid handling devices such as a bottletop dispenser.
