    Eppendorf PCR Cooler

The new Eppendorf PCR-Cooler maintains a sample temperature of 0 °C for over an hour and changes color when the temperature exceeds 7 °C. More convenient and reliable than an ice bath, the space-saving PCR-Cooler is easy to handle and reduces the risk of contamination, thereby making it ideal for preparing PCR reactions. The temperature of single tubes is indicated by the color of the individual wells. The specially developed cone contour prevents samples from freezing. Tubes can be inserted into the PCR-Cooler individually or in a rack, a 96-well plate, or tube strips. For a compact, innovative solution for transporting and storing sensitive samples as well as safely stopping reactions, look no further than the Eppendorf PCR-Cooler.

*PCR-Cooler must be pre-chilled for two hours at –20 °C.

    • PCR-Cooler operates like a color "thermometer," changing from purple to pink or dark blue to light blue when the upper temperature limit exceeds 7 °C
